Very close to the Ermita de la Breña we find some interesting panels that show us traces of fossilized life more than 400 million years old.
Then, the hard quartzite rocks were sand at the bottom of a shallow sea. There, the first forms of life began to emerge, which already had a certain degree of complexity. Throughout the Geopark, where these crags exist, we find fossils to a greater or lesser extent.
The cuts made in the rock during the construction of a high tension tower uncovered spectacular panels of marks of different types of living beings that inhabited that sea. They are mainly skolites, although there are also very nice crucians.
